Thank you to everyone who made this great event possible. A great crowd of bikes, riders, and guests poured in to the QSL to show their support. The weather was beautiful, and we all had a fantastic time. Special thanks to the Beach Room at Mineral Beach, for hosting our half way point again this year. Old Time Coffee / Biker Blend was gracious enough to serve coffee and hot tea to the guests during registration. Breugger's Bagels of Pleasant Hills sponsored the delicious breakfast once again this year and ran a really cool prize wheel. Edgar Snyder and Biker Chick Lawyer handed out some cool free stuff to everyone in attendance. DJ April kept the place rocking from start to finish, and Holly Jolly twisted balloons for the kids! Keep checking back for next summers bike run date, we are working on something new and different for next year!
Kostumes For Kuzak @ Legacy Lanes - October 18 , 2013
Bowling, Zombies, Wheel Barrow of Booze, who could ask for much more? Local artists & tattoo artists painted bowling pins that were used as trophy prizes for the costume contests. We had an overflowing candy table for guests to take treats home with them, and everyone had a great time.
Second Annual 5220 Bike Rally @ Quaker Steak & Lube - July 13 , 2013
Due to increasingly painful and more frequent muscle spasms from his injuries, Jimmy was unable to lead the pack via trike this year. However, that didn't keep him or his spirit down, he was still leading this amazing ride along with Officer Nolte in a Clairton Police Car. Hundreds of bikes packed the Quaker Steak & Lube in Pleasant Hills to show their support and ride together for a cause. Special thanks to Steely McBeam for donating his time to take photos with the guests, Mike Weis for photographing the event, DJ Rocky of Hot Metal Harley for keeping us rockin' from morning until afternoon, and the Lube for working with us on this event, as well as Breugger's Bagels for donating bagels, cream cheese and utensils for our breakfast and to Old Time Coffee for setting up and donating free coffee, tea and hot cocoa as well as their time to the bikers as they arrived in the morning. Another huge thank you to the Beach Room at Mineral Beach for letting us use their location as our half way point and Sweet Treat Buffets for sponsoring our snacks there and setting up the most creative cookie table we've ever seen. As always the company was amazing, we couldn't ask for better friends new and old, and hundreds of bikers riding seamlessly through an approximate 80 mile ride. A big thank you to the volunteers that helped make this possible, as well as the countless donations from local businesses and supporters for basket raffle items, supplies, flyer printing and so much more!
Kostumes For Kuzak @ South Hills Country Club - October 13 , 2012
This spooky spectacular was a ton of fun! A very special thank you to Jimmy Krenn for his gut-busting comedy, DJ Dangerous Dale for keeping the crowd dancing all night long, and Mike Weis for taking photos and printing take-home memories for everyone who visited the photo area at the party. The guests made candy bags as favors, and a delcious spread prepared by the South Hills Country Club Chef and staff was enjoyed by all. We celebrated two special birthdays with cake and of course singing to both Jimmy Krenn and DJ Dangerous Dale! Almost everyone came dressed to impress, and the Kostume contest was so hard on the Country Club Staff who chose the winners for us, that they had to add two categories! Thank you to everyone for coming out and dressing up for the night, it was a great time, and we look forward to doing it again next year!

A special thank you to Jason & Liz of QSL Southland for being a part of this amazing fundraiser, and to the Bull Pen in Avella for hosting our half way point. It was a beautiful sunny day, filled with laughter, love and a great ride. The sound of bikes and pipes filled many municipalities, and a very special thank you is in order to all of the officers and EMT's who helped with road closures, escorting, and just showing up to support. This was one of our most successful and emotional fundraisers. Less than two weeks after the verdict, it was extremely touching to have the community out in full force! Thank you to everyone who attended, those who donated basket raffle items, and to the volunteers who put in the countless hours of work to make this happen...we couldn't have done this without all of you!
No-Justice For Kuzak Rally - August 17 , 2012
After the news broke of the not guilty verdict of the two men accused of the shooting, the community was in shock and outraged. People gathered around the court house to show that justice had not been served for Officer Kuzak, just one day prior and wanted to show him that they were still in his corner. Rain poured down, as did the support from the community. People gathered on their lunch breaks, friends, family and even strangers gathered to show their support huddled in front of the courthouse. Jim and his family were emotional. "To have people that I've never met support me and see me on the streets and say thanks and give me a hug, that's Pittsburgh. I love it," Kuzak said. News crews and reporters came out in the rain to hear Jim speak, knowing that they had followed his story from the very beginning they were seeking his thoughts on the verdict. "I will say this. There is one person right now who knows who shot me, and that's Emilio Rivera. He was in that house. It was either him, and if the jury was right, or somebody else," Kuzak said.

Celebration Of Life at the Beach Room/Mineral Beach - March 31, 2012
As the one year anniversary of the shooting approached, we wanted to celebrate. We needed to celebrate. It has been a year of struggle, pain, perseverance and just like phoenix rising from the ashes, Jim has shown that he has the determination and strength to some day walk again. The Celebration Of Life was meant to be positive, just as Jim always is. He wanted everyone to have fun! Despite being in a wheelchair and still dealing with spasms, pain and discomfort, Jim is beyond thankful to be here and is enjoying his life to the fullest, no matter how challenging it may be these days. Tons of supporters helped make this day possible and special. Father Nick gave a beautiful blessing as the celebration kicked off, Eddie the Gun Safety Eagle posed for photos with the guests, Cindy of Winkers and friends did awesome balloon twisting, Andrea Olenak had the kids lined up for her airbrushed tattoos, the Pittsburgh Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums gave a spine tingling performance. Balloonatics donated our beautiful centerpieces, Nicole Savage made special "Jimmy Edition" paracord bracelets and donated a portion of the costs to the benefit fund. Buffo the world's strongest clown said he was honored to be part of our celebration and gave everyone a show they would not soon forget. Sounds4Gotten DJ had the crowd dancing all night. A special thanks to the Beach Room for letting us use their space, Gary Cooper our photographer, Blaine Hill BBQ, and the wonderful businesses that donated deserts, and items to be raffled. And we can not forget our volunteers, our "second family" who have been with us throughout this past year, through thick and thin, words cannot express how much you are appreciated. We are blessed to have such great family and friends. Here's to many more years, and many more celebrations!
